Groomsmen Asking/Proposal Cards

Groomsmen Asking/Proposal Cards

So a little context that's not really needed... As the title says I'm asking the boys to be my groomsmen. Wedding is in 2027 so I need to get to work. I wanted to do something cool and a bit different and went to Google to get some ideas of things I like. I found one that I really loved on a "crafty sell site which cannot be named" which was a PS5 or Xbox video game type box that has a the info on insert cards and disc inside. I instantly wanted to do that. As time has gone on though, I've realized that financially it's just not something I want to do. $30-45 a popular for 8 guys is not worth it to me. Add on top of that trying to figure out gift boxes. So the meat and potatoes, I want to make an invitation made to look like Black Ops paperwork. If you've seen in movies or other media when black ops paper work is shown, redacted info is blacked out. I want to make an ask like that but instead of actually blacking out the info I want a pull tab so that the info is revealed. I was hoping some folks could assist with ideas to help me put this together. Basically it's going to be like 3 stacks of paper together the front is has the bulk of typing with cutouts where the info can be seen, the back is connected to the front and contains the info for the wedding... the pocket in between would just be a black pull sheet that will be used to hide the info. What kind of paper stock should I use? I want it sturdy. Not thick but not paper thin. What could I use to bind the front and back together? Any ideas about any of this would be greatly appreciated. I will include a photo for inspo. Thank you everyone in advance and sorry for the long post.
