I have created a problem I am having to finagle myself out of- I constructed an insert to a fountain, that I wish to hold water, out of pieces of acrylic, and sealed the edges of it with a silicone caulk (I know, rookie mistake, don’t kill me). So of course now that I want to paint the inside of it, I read everywhere on how that won’t work. ????

My current thought on how to extricate myself is to cut canvas, glue it into this beast, cover with gesso so the seams aren’t visible, paint on it with acrylic paints and seal with something like Mr Super Clear.

Any thoughts on 1. What type of glue? 2. Is Mr Super Clear sufficiently waterproof? 3. Helppppp
