I said it was my biggest dream figure that could never possibly come true. I said I could never afford her unless I won the lottery. But after starting a new job in December, getting an unexpected bonus paycheck, and finding a slightly damaged version of the figure that brought her price down, I now own the rarest and largest Mikoto Misaka figure I will ever own.

The floating ring has multiple holes in it so it cannot inflate (I’m hoping I can find some way of patching it, it looks like a cat bite marks), and she does not have her original box. And did I mention she is huge? Misaka stands about an inch taller than even my tallest Dollfie Dream doll. I honestly haven’t even figured out where I want to display her (my wife shot down two of my best ideas saying she overwhelms the space).

But I don’t care. I love her and haven’t stopped looking at her since I opened the box. I still cannot believe she’s in my collection now.
