Perspective control again
| Testing out a Canon TS-E 24mm lens which I purchased in good condition pre-owned. Traded in a Rokinon 24mm tilt-shift for it, which was a decent budget alternative but was bad with internal reflections any time the light source was visible in the frame. I have the Canon TS-E 90mm which I have used to good effect before but its combination of field of view and minimum focusing distance were often confining. Anyway, as the photos demonstrate, the main purpose of these lenses is to allow greater control over depth of field than would be possible with a conventional lens. Here, being able to get everyone's faces in focus even while using a wider aperture. [link] [comments] |
