Dude reads a Reddit copy pasta to a MAGA politician after he allowed the usage of the hard r n-word during a meeting and justified it under the First Amendment.

Context: At a Shasta County Board of Supervisors meeting, a speaker (bald white man) used the hard r n-word during his speech to the board. I was the only African American person in the room and loudly and immediately protested from the audience. Former Supervisor Patrick Jones who at the time was the Chair of the board, chastised me for my "outburst", justified the man's usage of the word under the First Amendment, then had me escorted out of the chambers by law enforcement.

This was largely reported on in our local news. The next meeting I returned with 200 people who all spoke out against Patrick Jones. The board was set to implement a code of conduct at that meeting but it ultimately failed because of Patrick Jones and the 2 other MAGA politicians on the board who were clearly siding with the man who said the slur.

With a little help from Reddit, I went back to a following meeting and showed Patrick what Free Speech really means. They were forced to sit through all of this knowing they couldn't stop me based on their own ruling against a code of conduct and the First Amendment. To anyone who might be offended by anything in this speech, it was simply to prove a point. I hope you enjoy.
