My goal for insiders weekend was to snag the last retiring set I thought I needed; a Ninjago City Markets for my wife. So I logged in at midnight and made the purchase within a couple minutes. I then went to look at the Lion Knights Castle page so I could stare at it and talk myself into either buying or not buying it, but it was already listed as “sold out” at that point.

Then all the posts about it started giving me FOMO. I’d gotten into the habit of checking Facebook marketplace for deals, and as luck would have it found a guy looking to sell his entire collection, including a ton of unopened sets like the LKB. Sent him an offer for both and voila!

So anyone who’s missed out on the LKC, don’t forget to scour Facebook marketplace. I’ve definitely gotten some good deals on it.
