I found this set unopened on FB marketplace. Got it for $225, which I think is pretty worth it. Box is practically flawless. Here's the problem. It is a Christmas gift for the kids, who are big Scooby Doo fans. But, Christmas is still more than a month away. It's been 2 weeks and I'm going crazy because I want to give it to them to build already.

I should have just given it to them as a Veteran's Day present. That's a thing right? Is it too late now? Or can I say "since Daddy had to work we are celebrating Veteran's Day today. Here is your gift." You think they'll remember that I was actually off on the 11th? It's been a few days, they probably already forgot, right?

Does anyone celebrate Thanksgiving by giving presents? But that's still 2 weeks away though...
