Decided on the Original - Educated Barfly recipe.

My specs: 2oz Blanco Tequila (1.5oz Altos and 0.5oz Vida Mezcal), 0.5oz Crème de Cassis (Chambord), 0.75oz Grenadine (I have a Brut style so add 0.75oz instead of 0.5oz), 0.75oz Fresh lime juice, 1oz Sparkling water

Preparation: Shake all the ingredients (except Sparkling water) with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a chilled highball filled with ice. Top up with sparkling water. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Notes: First time trying the original and I can see why Mick Jagger made it their cocktail of the tour. Beautiful agave notes perfectly complemented by the Grenadine and Chambord. Gotta love this one. Cheers!
