I’m sharing this because I think it could be useful to some. I love pretty things! And I was definitely getting into a “must have it” cycle. Must have the perfect collection, must have the good deals…Then I decided to be real with myself as to what I need and actually use. What works for ME. This includes saying goodbye to all my Chanel, and admitting that in the summer I usually end up schlepping things to the park in a Trader Joe’s canvas bag.

I’ve whittled my collection down to 25 percent of what it was and sent the rest off to consignment. I’m SO much happier and have for now lost the itch to buy. Maybe I will get a camel or cognac leather some time but I am in NO hurry and will wait for just the right one. I think my little collection is amazing.
