Ingredients 2 ounces cognac

3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed

1/2 ounce Green Chartreuse

1/4 ounce simple syrup

2 dashes Angostura bitters

Garnish: lemon twist

Combine all ingredients except garnish in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake for 15–20 seconds until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Got my hands on some 2024 Green Chartreuse off the shelf at a local. I love sours and had to try this out. Its delicious! The Chartreuse gives it a je ne sais quo to the regular sidecar kind of mixed drink. A nice herbal aromatic kick plus some needed abv punch.
