So I accidentally created what might be the cleanest caffeine + alcohol combo since… ever? It’s called the Mate Mezcal. Basically, it’s what Red Bull Vodka wishes it could be—smoky, bitter, a little herbal, and doesn’t make you feel like you’re drinking cough syrup at a college party.

All it takes: • 2 oz Bozal Ensamble (or your go-to mezcal) • 4–6 oz Club-Mate (to taste) • Highball glass, ice, maybe a lime wedge if you’re feeling classy

That’s it. It’s dead simple and dangerously drinkable. Smoky meets sparkly. Oaxaca meets Berlin. A match made in heaven.
