HI r/Jewelrymaking,

I have been working on a project for a long time and would greatly appreciate your help, I am making what I am calling a 'Puzzle Link Oyster Bracelet' (working title). The link mechanism is similar to that of a Bicycle chain where each piece is connected by a horizontal pin. I am currently working on the closure for it and the aim is for when the closure is closed it behaves just like all the other pins in the link.

I'm not from a jewellery background so the fractions of millimetre precision in jewellery making boggles my brain. Currently in my CAD drawing I am working with the dimensions labelled (in mm), I was wondering if this seemed appropriate and if not, if you had any advice on what those dimensions should be.
