Tried this for the first time at Attaboy in NYC during my last visit. Initially ordered a Manhattan and was asked if I wanted a variation on it. It was delicious so had to remake it at home. Same with the Bellshire Old Fashioned. For that one, I asked for a Vieux Carré and again got a variation. It was amazing.

Recipe:

• 1.5 fl oz Rye (I used High West Rendezvous Rye)
• 1/2 fl oz Bénedectine D.O.M Liqueur
• 1/2 fl oz Lustau Amontillado Los Arcos sherry
• A couple dashes Angostura

Stir ingredients in ice and strain into pre-chilled ice-filled glass

Express a lemon peel and garnish.
