Hi there! First time poster here ????????

I’m currently on the hunt for a green (blue-green) emerald cut sapphire for an engagement ring. My ideal color is something close to the above and has some natural silk. I have been searching high and low but I’m finding that most rectangular sapphires in this color are quite small. The ones I have found online that are larger can range in price from $5,000 - $20,000 USD. I’m wondering if anyone here has any pointers on budgets as well as vendors or lapidaries that anyone has had success working with. Let me know if I’m delulu with my expectations ???? Because I am so particular about the cut and color, jewelers in my area have told me to go with moissanite or emerald. I live in New York and you’d think you could find some good sapphires out here. Sadly, this area is really concentrated with diamonds and a lot of jewelers I have contacted have told me this is an impossible find.
