My own creation, trying to use up my pear liqueur.

Reference to one of my favorite albums by atmosphere.

When life gives you pears, you get paint that shit gold:

2 oz bourbon (Old Grand Dad Bonded)
3/4 oz Pear liqueur (Rothman & Winter)
3/4 oz Amaro Montenegro
3/4 oz 3:1 honey syrup
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice

Shake with ice, pour over a big cube in a rocks glass. Garnish with what you’ve got (dehydrated citrus, in my case).

Honestly the pear gets a little lost, but it’s a tasty gold rush riff. I think I’d bump the pear up to a full oz if I did it again. The amaro gives the slightest bitterness on the finish.
