Espresso Martini on a large ice cube

Espresso Martini on a large ice cube

Usually I'm using a Nick & Nora glass when making an Espresso Martini. But I wanted to try it out served on a large ice cube.

So todays specs are the following:

1½ oz Courvoisier VSOP Cognac 1 oz Beverbach Whiskey Coffee Liqueur 1 oz espresso ½ Liqor 43

Shake really hard with a single large ice cube. Double strain into a chilled double rocks glass over a large ice cube.

To be honest, I still prefer my go to recipe with Havana Club 7 as a base spirit, Mr. Black, espresso and without any sweetener. But, I like that I don't have to hurry with the drink, since it simply stays cool for a longer time, when served on a large ice cube. But, since I love the Nick & Nora glasses, I simply might switch from time to time between these two.

Cheers
