I tried to remake it and it was so much better
| Yesterday I posted here asking for help on how I can make my cocktail better and I am extremely thankful to all of you for being so kind to me and for not judging me for being new to bartending, your help made me not only understand a bit more about how it works but also made me want to keep making more and more cocktails and prefect them! I made this one based on everyone's comments and I tired to garnish in a different way! Here's what I did: 60ml rum 30ml orange and vanilla syrup 30ml pineapple juice 15ml lime juice shake then strain (top with sparkling water) I wanted to top it with sparkling water but I filled the hurricane glass with crushed ice and I literally did not have any space left. It tasted so much better than yesterday! Not as sweet, but it definitely felt more balanced! I can taste the rum, the syrup, the lime and it doesn't taste as if it's just a spiked pineapple juice! I don't even know if this exists, but if it doesn't, I don't even know how to call it. I dream of having my own bar one day and I would love to be able to sign this drink as my own (and so I hope to keep creating more and more eventually) As soon as I can, I'll buy angostura bitters and add it, as well as I'll try to buy another rum other than the Bacardí Spiced Rum I have!
