Since the sun was out this weekend it felt appropriate to smash some basil with my gin:

50ml Tanqueray 25ml Lemon Juice 10ml Cointreau 10ml Sugar Syrup 1 Egg White 8-10 Basil Leaves

Muddle basil in base of shaker. Add remaining ingredients and shake with ice. Strain ice and dry shake. Fine strain in to chilled coupe.
