I'm not a really big tequila fan and vermouth can really go either way depending on the cocktail, but this one is actually pretty nice. It's earthy and herby and kind of fits the season well somehow. I did the Lui Fernandes video specs:

• 1½ oz Tequila Arette Blanco
• 1 oz Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao
• 1 oz Dolin Dry Vermouth

Stir with ice and strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass.

I've been sipping a bit while typing this up, and the dirt notes of the Arette are really coming through. I certainly wouldn't want a bigger one of these, but it would be a good change of pace. Normally dirt flavours are right up my alley. I'm a bit surprised at how sweet this comes across - is that my Curaçao choice?
