Method: Stired with ice in mixing glass and single strained into a chilled rocks glass with a single XL ice cube. Spritzed with grapefruit peel oil and garnished with same.

So I’ve been drinking a lot of Boulevardiers recently and, find them less punchy than my drink of choice (gin) Negroni’s. So much so I ran out of Campari and I’ve been subbing in alternatives, results… Aperol sweet but drinkable. Amaro Montenegro: good - bitter, but too much orange forward. Sacred Spiced Vermouth; great. But this; Clementi China Antico Elixir, is abomination!. Complex, yes, more bitter even than Campari, tannic - like liking a battery. Would not recommend.
