My first Sazerac

  • 1.5 oz Rye Whisky
  • 0.5 oz French Brandy
  • 1 barspoon rich syrup
  • 3 dashes Peychaud's
  • 1 dash Angostura
  • Absinthe rinsed glass.

I made it in a mixing glass, stirring with ice, and then transferred to the rocks glass. I see some people make it directly in the drinking glass too.

PS: I got a True Cube clear ice maker and it's working quite well.
