I wanted something rich and spiced for Thanksgiving and gave this cocktail a whirl. Matcha Kahlúa is not hard to come by in Okinawa, Japan. I’d never tried out made a flip before but was quite pleased with how this turned out.

Ingredients:

• 1.5 oz whiskey (bourbon or Irish) • 0.5 oz Matcha Kahlúa • 0.25 oz rich Demerara syrup • 1 whole egg • Ice 

Instructions:

1. Dry shake all ingredients to emulsify the egg. 2. Add ice and shake again until chilled. 3. Double Strain into an up glass and garnish with a light dusting of matcha powder or cinnamon.
