Hello guys!

I need some advice from professional jewelers. I got this ring for my gf last week and unfortunately the gold color faded. I suspected its a gold plating rather than gold material itself. So, are there any way to remove the gold plating to make it silver like? Or some way JUST to remove the gold?

Any suggestions? Thanks :)
