Crystallized simple syrup

I made a simple syrup with Truvia because my wife prefers it to regular sugar. However after a day in the fridge the whole thing crystallized/solidified. Is there any way to break it down and save the bottle or best to just toss and get a new one? Follow up queation, I have had this big of an issue when we've used Stevia, is this just something that happens with the brand I used this time?
