I recently bought a house and has to disclose I had an LLC when I got home insurance. I am a metalsmith and create silver jewelry. Not a serious business yet, as the LLC is new as well. I mostly got to artist craft fairs, markets and going to my first music festival this weekend. I’m working on expanding but it’s still in the beginning works. I work out of a third bedroom space. Very beginner set up. I use a hand torch only.

After one month of closing on the house, my home insurance calls me and wants to come inspect the house and specially look at my studio. I do have studio coverage through them (which was a major hassle & almost couldn’t get covered).

Is there anyway I can prepare for this? I’m afraid they will see a torch and my “pickle” chemicals, etc as a high rush in the home and drop me. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Here’s a picture of my studio for reference!
