Tropical Sour
| Apologies for the fact that this is the only picture I got. • 1.5oz Flor de Cana 4year rum • .5oz Don Q 151 rum •.875 oz lime •.75oz pineapple •1oz orgeat •1dash saline •1dash golden bitters •.5oz egg white Combine all ingredients except egg white in a tin with ice, shake vigorously, strain into other half of the tin, add egg white, dump ice, dry shake, double strain into coupe glass, garnish with four small dots of golden bitters and swipe with a pick I wanted a sweeter, fruitier cocktail to pair with some spicy tofu fried rice that my wife was making so I decided a tropical sour of sorts would do the trick. Aside from the color, I’m super happy with how this turned out and I’m definitely going to make some tweaks and try some rum infusion to get a better color on this so that I can put it on a summer menu next year.
