Hi!

I have a lot of velvet ribbon string and I’m looking to make chokers with dangly things on them. I want to be able to punch a hole in the ribbon with a metal ring to “seal” the hole I guess? (Idk) instead of just poking a hole and putting a jump ring in it and risking it fraying and growing larger. Is there a way to do this or a special tool(s) I need? How do you guys normally put rings or charms in velvet ribbons?
