Probably the wrong flair as i did not end up getting a dream bag today. I will be celebrating a major milestone as an immigrant and i wanna purchase a bag to make it more memorable. I have narrowed my list down to three: a Speedy 25, Mulberry Bayswater, and Balenciaga medium rodeo handbag in burgundy. I went to Selfridges today and asked to see the Balenciaga. I was completely underwhelmed and confused. Felt catfished to say the least. The pictures online looked different in purse-on (tee hee) My dream bag didn’t feel so dreamy as i held, touched and looked at it. At least the size felt perfect for what i vision to use it for. The burgundy looked so dull. The leather not too impressive and the rubber lining/binding around the edges seemed to be lifting off. At least with the Speedy and the Bayswater i know what to expect. But for the price of the rodeo.. i don’t know. It’s like getting your eye checked and wearing a brand new pair of glasses and seeing everything clearly :(
