Banana Daiquiri

Banana Daiquiri

A blended Banana Daiquiri recipe from Feed Powell's 1979 edition of "The Bartender's Standard Manual"

Recipe:

4.5 oz. Rum

Juice of 1 Lime

1 oz. Banana Liqueur

½ Ripe Banana

Blend with cracked ice.

I garnished this with half a banana cut into a dolphin shape with cloves for eyes, holding a brandied cherry in its "mouth". I would cut back on the lime a touch here; the lime somewhat overwhelmed the banana, but this was a fun drink nonetheless. Cheers!
