So I have no idea if this is actually a riff on either. I needed a cocktail after putting the kids to bed, and was a bit drowsy. I wanted to make a Naked and Famous but somehow mixed up the aperol for maraschino (was looking at a recipe that said Luxardo so I didn’t think twice about). So now I have this cocktail which actually tastes pretty great, like a Strange breed between a last word, ultima palabra and naked and famous;

3/4 oz Yellow Chartreuse

3/4 oz Mezcal del Maguey Vida classic

3/4 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liq

3/4 oz fresh lime juice

Shaken with ice
