Strange Weaver????
| I made a fresh batch of Toasted Almond Orgeat (thanks to Kevin Kos’ recipe) and thought I’d revisit the Strange Weaver - a nice change from a Negroni pre-dinner. My specs as follows: 1oz Aged Rum (Appleton Signature), 1oz Gin (The Botanist), 0.75oz Sweet Vermouth (50/50 Blend of Dolin and Punt e Mes), 0.5oz Campari, 0.5oz Toasted Almond Orgeat (Kevin Kos recipe) and 0.25oz Fresh Lemon Juice. Shaken with ice and strained into a rocks glass with pebbled ice. Garnished with a dehydrated blood orange wheel. Jamaican Rum adds a lovely funky touch. Sip slowly. [link] [comments] |
