We are at the tail-end of strawberry season here in Northern Michigan, so I've been seeking out strawberry cocktails. This one from Death & Co was really enjoyable! Note: the recipe calls for crushed ice (and I cam see why it would be well suited for this drink) but I was lazy and subbed in a large cube.

- 2 oz cognac
- 3/4 oz St. Germain
- 3/4 oz lemon juice
- 1/4 oz cinnamon syrup
- 1/2 tsp aged balsamic vinegar
- 1 dash bitters
- 1 muddled strawberry

Muddle the strawberry in a shaker tin. Add all other ingredients and shake with ice. Double strain on the rocks (or crushed ice).
