Hi everybody,

I am totally naive to this kinda stuff… I have had this ring which was custom made using a family ring and other 18 kerat gold jewelry from a local metal smith. It has had daily wear for 5-6 years, however today I noticed this copper coloured line appearing on the surface and the edge of the ring. It’s not visible on the inside of the ring though.

Any idea what this is ? Sorry the picture is not the best.
