Rum is not a world I have ventured much into but cachaça is something I've always been interested in especially with this cocktail as a mezcal or tequila Tommy's margarita has over time become my favorite cocktail It felt like a easy next thing to try. I'm not sold on cachaça just yet but I am continually interested, the grassy plantain like flavor and smell is what I'm most attached to like the vegetal agave flavor of tequila and mezcal. This cocktail also gave me the gift of learning I had a small cut in my mouth, I finished it anyway- also a very pretty presentation for such a simple thrown together feeling making the cocktail has.
