Here's my debate. Articulated arms are better because you don't need to swap out entire arms, forearms, or shoulder pieces. You can easily bend the arm and then swap the hands. If GSC (or Max Factory for some nendoroids) don't have to include or make extra arms, they can instead give you extra hands or accessories.

And you might argue, "what about the special arms for specific poses?" Those can only be used for that specific poses, and they'd look bad if used otherwise. Sometimes those special arms are entire molded pieces which include the hands that could potentially be used for another better pose.
