Enhancing Natto

Just had Natto for the first time Mixed it abt 100 times with the accompanying condiments +dash of gochugaru . Had it straight out of the box. I don’t get what all the fuss is about it’s just slimy coffee. I guess people who never had blue cheese are put off by it Although i would have preferred it warmed up i guess that kills the bacteria? I was thinking mixed in an omelette?Any suggestions on accompaniments that retain bacteria and enhances flavour?
