Mugito Mensuke Osaka

Mugito Mensuke Osaka

This is from my first trip to what is now my favourite Ramen shop, Mugito Mensuke in Osaka. I went there randomly on weekend afternoon and ended up waiting nearly 3 hours but I had the day to myself so it wasn't a big deal. It's fancy for a Ramen shop and much more expensive than others (1455¥) but worth every yenny.

This is their iriko soba, it's shio Ramen made with chicken and dried sardines. ????

The soup is unbelievable. Subtle but loads of umami and slight fishy flavour. It comes with 3 different kinds of pork (all insanely delicious), wagyu wonton (crazy good) and the noodles are perfect. There's also yuzu in the tare. Not super heavy and genuinely a 10/10.

Their should Ramen is made with pheasant bones and is delicious as well but for me this is the one to get. Last time I went I got there an hour before open and was 5th in line. By the time they opened there was at least 60 people. If you're in Osaka it's a must.
