Montebello Brut de Colonne

Montebello Brut de Colonne

Montebello Brut de Colonne Rum bottled by Nobilis Rum. Brut de Collone literally means raw column rum. This is a rum that after distillation matures for a few weeks in stainless steel vats and is then bottled without dilution. They usually have between 65 and 75 percent. Sometimes a little more, like in this case.

Nose: Melon, sugar cane and of course you can feel the 83% but it doesn't bother me Taste: creamy oily, we get a kick from the 83% but after a while everything flows smoothly on the palate. You can feel the ripe melon, sweetness and at the end the notes typical of agricole. Adding water helps. In Daiquiri it does a really good job.
