I’m wanting to keep it moving with this build I’m working on but I would like to blacken the tracks. I know AK and VMS make products but I really don’t want to have to order them and wait around on their arrival. I wasn’t sure if anyone knew how to make an at home version of that stuff, Like some mythical recipe from the olden days of modeling? ????

Obviously I know I can just prime and paint them but I’d like to do them up proper since they are my first set of metal tracks and I’m likely never going to buy a set in the future because of their ridiculous price. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks.
