general question from someone looking to get into 1/200 ships.

very conflicted as to weather or not i ought to buy a detailing set for Rodney. planning to buy one but its already a 220 quid model and not sure if id want to get it without a detailing set. anyone with any experience of this kit or just 1/200 trumpeter ships and can tell me their opinion on the necessity of an MK1 set or a pontos set. i would also like to know if there is a 1/200 scale ship that i can get for ideally less than £300 that wouldnt require an upgrade set. appreciate it!
