will glossy tamiya white(X-2) and glossy mr hobby aqueous paints survive decals chemicals(mr mark softer) or do i need to do a protective clear coat?

im asking because ive seen many people paint the car body(almost always in glossy paint) and not apply a clear coat and use decal chemicals and they have no consequences...

my question is, if i just didnt use gloss before decals, would mr mark softer eat through my x2 white(glossy) or my aqueous h25+h15(also glossy)?
