I was almost done this kit and this happened. Not even sure when or how, just decaling it up and the v-fin had a chunk gone.

This kit has really low tolerances that scraped the paint when the yellow pieces went together so I ended up stripping the paint off them and I think it weakened the plastic. So frustrating, can't even get replacement parts on P-Bandai.
