In my opinion of course.

Palm-top sized model kits that are incredibly detailed for its size, and always coming with the newest plamo technology available. This is me shilling Bandai’s business but RG line has made me love gunpla kits even more than I did. I tend to skip a few HGs and MGs, but I would never skip a RG even if its a Gundam I don’t really have an interest in. I grew up building SDs and the really old HG Gundam X and W kits, and to see a 1/144 capable of all the detail and color separation was mind blowing. It really felt like a mini MG back then.

The 2.0 really brings that home, so much that I feel it even has more details than a typical MG. I can only critique certain design elements of the RX-78-01 with the 2.0, but every step of the build had me fascinating with just how Gunpla has evolved.

It truly is a “ok grandpa, lets get you to bed” moment just like the photo.
