I'm back into plastic modelling after like 5 years, and i bought revells HMS Victory. My last plastic ship model was Belle Poule by Heller; meanwhile i started wooden models (two are still work in progress; one is rigged rn). I used tamiya masking tape for ocre stripes (instead of suggested yellow ones), and found that details on the middle of the boards make it so difficult to make even lines. Mind that i use paintbrushes; I'm not going to use airbrush on this model, i want to invest in it if i stick to the hobby and would know i have time and space for it. But for a brush painting, should i remove the paint and use different method, correct painting mistakes with a brush by hand, or what do you think?
