Hi all!

So quick about me - new to reddit and new to Gunpla - 33yr M UK who tried to get back into Warhammer in the last few years but found it really stressful and quite overbearing in terms of preparing to build/paint etc.

When I was younger I loved Gundam Wing witj Waltz being one of my fav films and when they announced the Gundam minis I decided this was going to be a thing I collected (along with several other hobbies I have sigh) so I have been getting back into Gundam Anime and have recently watched Witch and now watching Iron Orphans (which are kinda blowing my mind)

Anyways to me I felt that the Calibarn should have been Sulettas actual Gundam all along and someone i know had recently showed me their Gunpla collection so I caved and bought the PBandai kit - I dont plan for this to be the first kit I do however

Ok so maybe time for my questions if anyone can help me.

1. Outside of kits can anyone suggest me a list of things I should get to start (cutting mats, clippers etc) - I really want to get some god hands but they are super expensive and feel like not the right ones to get for a beginner maybe

2. Any suggestions on beginner kits that are cheap and great to get started on

3. Any good places to talk Gundam?

I appreciate all the above can be answered by youtube but also felt like I wanted to find a space to talk about my interest in Gundam again
