Hi all, recently started binging Gundam (just finished the Thunderbolt duology, and starting Stardust Memory, going in chronological order of the UC timeline first)

Heading to Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka in April and would love to head to Gundam base and a couple other places to pick up some Gunpla. Anyone been recently or have any recommendations for "must have" sets for a beginner? I'd like to get at least one PG RX-78-2 if I can find one, and any/all RX-78-2 Casval editions (currently obsessed with this design/color)

I'll take any and all recommendations for must have tools, paints, pens, tutorial videos, stores to visit in Japan, unique or fun sets to look for and get. This is my current hyperfixation so set me up!

This is a once in a lifetime trip for my family we've been saving for for over 5 years so I have quite the lucrative spending budget, so any and all recommendations are welcome.
