Hey everyone, looking for some advice on colours used for F15 bare metal exhaust/engines.

Tamiya recommends a “gun metal” which is known to be an extremely flakey dark black/grey so that isn’t accurate, I’m not looking for perfection but something a little better, so I’m happy to hear previous or current builders and what colour they used to replicate it?
