So, I've always been a fan of the kits and never made one (in my 40s, Dad). I have not even watched much of the show (I will do it now). Recently, my sister was in Tokyo and asked if I wanted anything, so I requested she go to the Gundam Base in Tokyo, where she picked an RX-0 Unicorn 1/144. I've never done anything like this, so I've been spending a lot of time taking it slow. I went with a worn finish (using a pencil). I picked up some waterslide decals. As I have been going, I have cleared-coated the white parts before fitting them. Should I have also clear-coated the decals afterwards to make them more matte?
