So I’m painting my first model (Tamiya A6M3 (Hamp)) and have been brush painting it with Vallejo Model colour moderately successfully up until I tried adding the yellow leading edges. Frankly it’s been a disaster - I tried skimping out on masking tape and used sticky tape instead (big mistake), the paint hasn’t been applying as neatly as it has previously and I’m overall really unhappy with it.

How do you recover from a bad painting session? Is it possible to selectively strip the paint here and start this section over?
