Try to be more like this person when people are curious and have questions about your hobby. I was genuinely excited about the hobby when I posted earlier asking for advice. But honestly after reading some of the responses, I think I’m done. Even though the negativity was minor, it was enough. It really doesn’t take much to totally ruin someone’s attitude about new things. Maybe I’ll try this again in a couple years. Your gatekeepers are too strong for me and I feel foolish for asking for help and sharing things in my first post.

Thanks to those of you who were genuinely trying to help. Hope you’re around when I rebuild the confidence to step out of my box and ask questions and try this again.
